My old dock stopped charging after two years so I grabbed this replacement and it snapped right back into the same spot on my floor. The vacuum finds it just like before and charges back up to full without me touching anything.

The charging contacts lined up perfectly on the first try and my vacuum docked itself without any fiddling. Same dock time as the original, so the spare is now set up downstairs.
